Program Chair, Michelle Pulliam

Michelle Pulliam has over 25 years of experience in the catering industry. Michelle found her passion for food and entertaining at a young age. At the age of 19, while attending Northern Virginia Community College, she started her catering career with Company Kitchen. After seven years with Company
Kitchen, Michelle pursued another opportunity with Occasions Caterers, one of the top catering companies in the DC Metropolitan area. In 1998, Michelle joined RSVP Catering as a Sales Assistant. Through dedication and hard work, Michelle promoted quickly and within 3 years, she became a Senior Account Executive. Michelle was responsible for large accounts such as Booz Allen Hamilton and handled an Inauguration dinner for over 1000 guests for President Obama’s Inauguration!
In 2015, Michelle decided to expand her knowledge of the industry and accepted the position of Catering Sales Manager at Holiday Inn Washington Dulles. Her strong catering background and passion for people has earned Michelle the Wedding Wire Couples Choice Award, several years running during her tenure here at the Holiday Inn Washington Dulles. And  promoted to Area Catering Sales Manager selling social catering events into the three BF Saul Dulles Properties: Hampton Inn & Suites, Springhill Suites and The Holiday Inn Washington Dulles.
Currently, Michelle serves as Catering Sales Director of Social Occasions for Tower Club Tysons Corner, in Tysons Corner, Virginia.
Michelle, her husband Jeff and son, Barrett reside in the area. Michelle and her mother are very close and still have a love for food and planning parties. She balances her love for food with Zumba classes and bicycle riding and she loves going to see live music and watching football.
