This blog is not about the perfect winter wedding or the amazing couple pictured. Yes, they had gorgeous flowers, elegant linens and fabulous food and I could go on about the details all day long. What I would like to share in this blog is how wonderful it was to work with not ONE, but TWO fellow AWP (Association of Wedding Professionals) members. As members of AWP, we can meet and get to know other great wedding professionals. I value the expertise Nicole and Jeff each share with my clients. Last January, I was thrilled to join with them as part of the same wedding team.
Nicole of FINGERS IN INK created a beautiful invitation suite. A laser die cut gatefold jacket that opened to the formal invitation, finished with a double face satin lavender ribbon. A second special touch was the inclusion of a timeline information card for the wedding guests.
Nicole’s work carried over to the reception. Layered menu cards finished with ecru double face satin ribbon, table numbers, escort chart and place cards completed the look of the Day-of stationery.
Jeff of Wedding Ceremonies by Jeff helped the couple develop a very special ceremony. At the ring exchange, Jeff invited the groom’s son to join the couple at the front. Following the exchange of rings, the couple and the groom’s son joined in the glass unity ceremony. All three poured a vial of glass beads into one vessel. The glass was later melted down and made into a vase for the couple’s home.
In 2019 I look forward to working with many more of the AWP Members. Who have you collaborated with from AWP?
