The Association of Wedding Professionals of Greater Washington, DC (AWP) has served the Washington, DC metropolitan area for over 25 years. Its members represent the businesses, vendors, and services of the wedding industry with a mission to provide support, assistance, and educational opportunities which promote and encourage the highest level of ethics and professionalism in the wedding industry. All Members subscribe to a strict Code of Ethics set forth by the Association assuring the highest level of integrity within the wedding industry. We encourage our members to network with other businesses in the industry, broaden their knowledge of that industry, and raise the quality of their customer service. Coupled with our monthly meeting programs in areas of marketing, promotion, and a host of other areas, Members are able to realize a real boost to their success.
Our monthly meetings are held the 4th Tuesday of each month at a unique venue in the Washington, DC metro area. Our platform is a combination of learning and networking!
